Who runs this site
Trading Card Games is published and operated by SCAFA INVESTMENTS LLC, a company registered in the United States. SCAFA INVESTMENTS LLC also develops MapRaiders, which includes a collectible card game with commanders and decks. When MapRaiders appears on this site, it is inside a clearly labelled "From our studio" box, kept separate from the independent physical and digital card games covered around it.

How we choose what to cover
We select games based on four checks:
- Official status. Every game listed is currently available and actively supported by its publisher or manufacturer.
- Format accuracy. We separate physical trading card games from digital card games, since a printed game and its own digital client can work very differently, even when they share a name.
- Acquisition model. We describe exactly how you get new cards in each game, whether that's buying printed packs, opening digital packs, crafting with in-game currency, or a season pass, sourced from official pricing and product pages.
- Trading and resale. We note whether a game actually supports trading or reselling individual cards between players, since that's one of the biggest practical differences between physical and digital card games.
We do not play every game ourselves before writing about it, and we say so on each page. Where we haven't run our own hands-on test, we describe a game "based on official information and public documentation." We never invent ratings, star scores, player counts or reviews, and we don't publish fabricated "our test" claims.
Sources and check dates
Every recommendation links to the game's official website, official store listing, or manufacturer's product page. Each page states the date its facts were last checked. When a publisher changes a price, platform list, or set availability after that date, the page may be temporarily out of date until our next review pass.
How MapRaiders is treated on this site
MapRaiders is currently in development and accepting beta registrations. It is not downloadable, not publicly playable, and it is never included in the numbered lists of playable card game picks on this site. Any mention of MapRaiders sits in its own labelled box and links to MapRaiders' own pages for further detail.
